OUS workers cannot use such a calculator at this time since steps and furloughs remain to be finalized in negotiation.

UPDATED CALCULATOR INCLUDING FURLOUGHS We posted a new and improved version of the pay comparison calculator on Friday, July 29. It now includes the impact of furlough days and some additional refinements. Shortly after posting the initial calculator on July 27, we realized there was a glitch that we soon corrected. Apologies for that initial confusion.

RATIFICATION BALLOTS IN THE MAIL NEXT WEEK Packets with complete details of the tentative agreement for state workers and ratification ballots will be mailed to home addresses next week. After seven months of intense bargaining and collective action, we won an agreement that ensures everyone will have an increase in take-home pay by the end of the contract, and we beat back all but one of the State's proposed takeaways.

This is not a contract that any of us loves, but the DAS/OUS Central Bargaining Team and your elected Bargaining Delegates recommend that you ratify the agreement.

If you do not receive a ballot by the end of the week, please contact your local field office for a replacement ballot. Only members are eligible to vote. Non-members will receive a membership application in their packets that can be returned with the ballot. Ballots must be received by Monday, August 22 at SEIU Salem Headquarters, and will be tabulated the following day. Results will be posted on this site.
